Do I receive any tax benefits as a Dutch citizen or Dutch company for a gift?
The Metropolitan Opera is registered with the Dutch tax authorities as a cultural Public Benefit Organization in the Netherlands (culturele algemeen nut beogende instelling or ANBI). Our RSIN/tax number is 825391763.
This means that Dutch resident individuals and Dutch resident companies can deduct their gift for Dutch personal income tax purposes or Dutch corporate income tax purposes, respectively, provided certain conditions are met.
