Tosca

Legendary soprano Licia Albanese sings Puccini’s dramatic title heroine, the glamorous diva who enchants all of Rome, including her lover, the painter Cavaradossi (Daniele Barioni). Leonard Warren is Scarpia, the villainous chief of police who pursues his political enemy Cavaradossi while trying to win Tosca for himself—with murderous consequences. Dimitri Mitropoulos conducts.
