Shakespeare and Verdi, two colossal creators at the height of their dramatic genius, unite to create an overwhelming masterpiece. Clarion-voiced tenor Johan Botha is Otello, the acclaimed warrior, hero, and ruler, who is insidiously destroyed by his own inner weakness and insecurity.
