In the United States and Canada, tickets for The Met: Live at Home are available to people who do not live close to a participating movie theater. Outside of the United States and Canada, The Met: Live at Home is available in countries that do not currently present The Met: Live in HD.

Please be sure to have location services turned on in your browser to determine eligibility. Eligibility is based on a combination of factors including your location’s population density and distance from a Live in HD movie theater.

Eligibility for tickets is based on location. Please be sure to have location services turned on in your browser so that we can determine your eligibility. Once you’ve turned on location services, you may need to refresh the page.

If you are not eligible for Live at Home tickets, you will see a “Find a Theater” button, which will present you with a list of nearby participating movie theaters.

You can access the performance from The Met: Live at Home website. Log in with your Met username and password and select the available performance you’d like to watch.

• Access the website via a private/incognito window.
• Try using a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.).
• Restart your computer or device.

These events are not included with a Met Opera on Demand subscription and will not immediately be available as part of the Met Opera on Demand catalog.

Phone orders are not currently available. The Met: Live at Home tickets can only be purchased online.

Currently, Met Gift Cards may not be used towards the purchase of The Met: Live at Home tickets.

The Met: Live at Home tickets are purchased separately from in-house tickets or Met Opera on Demand subscriptions. Your Live at Home event ticket is available via the link found in your confirmation email. You can also access the performance from The Met: Live at Home website. Log in with your Met username and password and select the available performance you’d like to watch.

Yes, performances will include open subtitles in English.

After the live event, the performance will be available for on-demand viewing for seven days. During this time, you can watch the performance as many times as you’d like using the personalized link in your confirmation email. You can also access the performance from The Met: Live at Home website. Log in with your Met username and password and select the available performance you’d like to watch.

On performance days, we are open from 10AM ET until curtain time, Monday–Saturday, and 12–6PM ET on Sunday. On non-performance days, we are open from 12–6PM ET and closed on Sundays.
