How It Works
The Met: Live at Home is a streaming platform that allows audiences to watch the Met’s acclaimed Live in HD opera transmissions from any device in the comfort of their homes—created especially for audiences who do not have access to a participating movie theater for the Met’s live cinema transmissions. Streaming is available only in select areas around the world. Please see below for details and frequently asked questions on how to access the program.
Please note that eligibility for tickets is based on your location. Please be sure to have location services turned on in your browser. Click here to learn how to turn on location services.
Step 1: Select from the list of available performances and add them to your cart. When prompted, register, or log in with your Met username and password. After checkout, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to each of the events. You will also receive a reminder email three days before each live event.
Step 2: On the day of the event, click the link in the confirmation email, log in with your Met username and password, and enjoy the performance.
Step 3: After the event, access the performance on demand as many times as you’d like for seven days, using the same access link you received in your confirmation email.
