Met Students Ambassadors

The Metropolitan Opera is thrilled to relaunch its popular Met Students Ambassador program. Comprising undergraduate and graduate students from colleges and universities in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, this group serves as the Met’s student think-tank for publicizing new initiatives, offers, and discounts; devising promotional strategy on local campuses; and planning exclusive events for Met Students members. In addition to gaining exclusive access to Met staff, creatives, and artists—as well as free admission to select ticketed events—Ambassadors will have the following responsibilities:

• Organizing and staffing Met Students registration tables on your campus
• Publicizing Met Students events and discounts through email, social media, and on-campus marketing
• Helping plan and promote Met Students events, including pre-performance parties
• Attending regular meetings with fellow Ambassadors at the Met (either in person or virtually)

We are no longer accepting applications for the 2024-25 season. Please check back in the spring when we will reopen applications!
