Career Corner & Artist Chats

This initiative, pioneered during the 2020 Global Summer Camp, offers young opera lovers an inside look at careers in the arts. Throughout the year, staff from the Met’s education team will interview a member of the company to find out what they do and how they came to work at the Met. These virtual events, hosted on Zoom and later posted to YouTube, will then be opened to student questions, allowing young opera lovers to dream of and plan for a career in the arts. Recently featured Met staffers have included dramaturg Paul Cremo, graphic designers Karin Satrom and Jillian Morris, and media specialist Grace Row.
