Student Engagement
In response to the closures of schools, cinemas, and the opera house itself occasioned by the Covid-19 pandemic, Met Opera Education inaugurated a bold new collection of virtual programming. Initially designed to deliver both opera performances and curricula to students and teachers, this virtual programming has now blossomed into a series of events designed to foster ongoing interaction among the Met, our nationwide corps of educators, and young opera lovers around the globe.
