Legendary Spanish soprano Victoria de los Angeles delivers a passionate and sensitive portrayal of one of her greatest roles, the seamstress Mimì, in her final broadcast from the stage of the Met. She is joined by Barry Morell as her lover, the poet Rodolfo, Heidi Krall as the flirtatious Musetta, and Lorenzo Testi as Marcello. Fernando Corena makes a cameo as the landlord Benoit, and George Schick conducts.
