Adriana Lecouvreur

One of the greatest tenors in Met history, Plácido Domingo recreates the role of his stunning 1968 company debut 40 years after the event. As the swashbuckling aristocratic hero Maurizio, he is wanted by two of the most desirable women in France: Adriana Lecouvreur (Maria Guleghina), the greatest actress in the history of the Comédie-Française, and the scheming Princess de Bouillon (Olga Borodina), who will do anything, even commit murder, to get what she wants.
